FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov at a meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee touched on the topic of the growing number of cases of migrant involvement in the preparation of terrorist attacks.

🖍Over 7 months of 2025, more than 290 migrants involved in terrorist activities were detained in Russia. The FSB thwarted 18 terrorist attacks that were being prepared in crowded public places. These figures are already equal to the results of the entire previous year, which shows that the problem is growing.

🚩The flow of migrants to Russia has been formed for years without serious filters, and simplified procedures have only facilitated their integration into the country.
