A soldier with links to far-right groups and who is accused of spying will face a court martial hearing next week – a first-of-its-kind prosecution shrouded in secrecy for now.

The Linton-based soldier’s name is suppressed and so is the foreign country at the centre of the espionage case, as well as the names of some prosecution expert witnesses.

RNZ is opposing these orders and a suppression hearing is scheduled for Monday morning, before the court martial begins.

I see many people asking where arrests are at.

The answer is, when the time is right. The public are currently being briefed, so they know WHY these people are being arrested BEFORE arrests happen.

These information nuggets have been dropped to us in 13 day intervals, giving the public time to understand and digest the magnitude of these revelations, before they move onto the next nugget of information.

In other words, this rollout is coordinated, which means there is a plan, which means there is a timeline, which means there is a projected end to the timeline. This is a calculated dissemination process. Trump and his team are preparing the public for the shocking things that have to happen (high-profile arrests), and they are telling us slowly and thoroughly.

Why do you think Trump just federalized DC police and deployed the National Guard to DC? And why is he hinting that he is about to do the same in cities across the country? Trump is setting the stage for arrests, and he wants maximum security in place before he does it, because even after the evidence is shown to the public, there will still be backlash.

In conclusion, arrests will not happen until the public are fully briefed on the situation, and Trump has the security in place to handle backlash BEFORE arrests happen. As for when that is, I have no idea, but the dissemination process is underway.

A week-long public hearing for decision-makers in the Covid-19 pandemic has been scrapped because former ministers - including former PM Jacinda Ardern - will not show up.

The Royal Commission of Inquiry aims to identify lessons learned from the government response in order to better prepare for future pandemics.

Inquiry chair Grant Illingworth KC says a second week of public hearings - set down for next week - is "no longer justified" because former ministers will not participate.

They include Ardern, Chris Hipkins, Grant Robertson and Ayesha Verrall - who have been interviewed in private, and have argued that repeating their answers in a public hearing would be "performative rather than informative".

The commission said the decision to scrap next week's hearings included a number of factors, such as a significant amount of information gained from former ministers and officials via private interviews, and the need to avoid unnecessary cost and delay.

The chair also said the inquiry had other mechanisms available to obtain necessary evidence and also to increase transparency and public confidence.

Labour leader and former cabinet minister Chris Hipkins told media this afternoon that he had answered every question the inquiry had.

"I attended the interview that they scheduled for me, they had asked for two hours, they ran out of questions after an hour."

Hipkins said the public hearing would repeat the questions he had already answered during his private session.

"They themselves said that it wasn't a matter of gathering any further information, that there was no further information they were looking for."

He said that if the inquiry did not have any new questions for him, he did not see "any value" in attending the public hearing.

There was no collusion between himself and other former ministers on the matter, he said.

Hipkins said some of the questions related to "specific lockdown decisions".

A spokesperson for Dame Jacinda Ardern said Ardern had cooperated fully with the royal commission.

"She's provided extensive evidence, including through a recent interview that lasted three hours and has also offered access to her evidence from the first Royal Commission."

The spokesperson said Ardern remained available to answer any further questions the Commission had.

"The Commission's work is important and she will continue supporting them in reaching their terms of reference."

Verrall, who was Health Minister for some of the Covid response, said the former ministers had been "giving the Commission all the information it needs".

"I have provided extensive evidence and attended an interview put down for two hours with the commissioners where they could ask whatever they wanted. In my interview they ran out of questions in our allocated time, so I clearly provided everything they needed.

In a move seen as a slap in the face to New Zealanders, former Prime Minister Dame Jacinda Ardern, alongside Labour heavyweights Chris Hipkins, Grant Robertson, and Ayesha Verrall, have refused to appear at the second round of public hearings for the Covid-19 Royal Commission, scrapping the sessions entirely and exacerbating the trauma of a nation already scarred by division.

While claiming to cooperate privately with the inquiry, their refusal to face public scrutiny has ignited fury among Kiwis seeking closure. Illingworth admitted public hearings would have bolstered trust by allowing New Zealanders to see these key architects of the pandemic response questioned openly. Yet, Ardern and her allies argued public appearances risked their words being “tampered with, manipulated or otherwise misused,” a concern they insisted the inquiry should have foreseen.

Speaking to reporters this afternoon, Hipkins denied hiding from scrutiny. “We have shown up to the enquiry, I have shown up to the enquiry. I have been interviewed by them twice,” he said, claiming he provided written evidence and answered all questions in a session that ended early because the inquiry “ran out of questions after an hour.” He rejected any coordinated effort with Ardern, despite their close ties, stating, “Any suggestion we colluded with this is wrong.”

The Israel Conversation Has Changed — And Fast

Not long ago, openly criticising Israel was political suicide in the United States and much of the Western world. If you questioned its actions or its influence, you were immediately branded anti-Semitic, a conspiracy theorist, a racist, or worse. Character assassination was a guaranteed outcome of daring to say anything against the Zionist nation and the mainstream media (owned by who?) made sure to pull the trigger accordingly.

But the muzzle is coming off.

Over the past few months, we’ve seen a wave of prominent figures; from Tucker Carlson to Candace Owens, Joe Rogan, Glenn Greenwald, or Nick Fuentes, openly challenging the narrative. Millions of Americans are beginning to say what was once unthinkable:
• We don’t like what Israel is doing.
• We don’t want to bankroll its wars.
• We are tired of a Congress that seems to serve Israeli interests before American ones.

This is a monumental shift, and it’s coming from across the political spectrum. For decades, the conversation was locked down by fear, stigma, and the influence of evangelical Zionism in American politics. But now, the walls are cracking.

From experience, I know that when you see such a coordinated, multi-platform narrative shift, it’s rarely organic. This has all the signs of a deliberate campaign to prepare the public for something bigger.

The sudden alignment of commentary from figures like Tucker Carlson or Candace Owens, the strategically chosen interviews with ex–Green Berets who’ve witnessed the horrors of Gaza at the hands of the IDF, and the exposure of Christian persecution in Israel — none of this is happening in a vacuum.

This is part of a larger psychological operation in the war against the deep state, because Israel is one of its central pillars.

If Trump is preparing to take decisive action regarding Israel, he will need his base behind him. Up until now, that base has been overwhelmingly pro-Israel and shifting that loyalty requires education, narrative, and precise timing.

• No hiking, camping, fishing, or hunting.
• Applies to Crown and private lands.

• In effect until at least mid-October — or until the government decides conditions have “improved.”

The official story is to prevent wildfires. But the usual pattern emerges once again:

PROBLEM — Fires erupt across the province. Are they all natural? I seriously doubt it. We’ve seen suspicious wildfire patterns across Canada before: sudden ignition points, simultaneous outbreaks, and conditions that conveniently advance climate panic narratives.

REACTION — Fear campaigns in the media: the dangers of nature, the unpredictability of the woods, the urgency to “stay safe.”

SOLUTION — Blanket mobility bans and harsh penalties — in this case, a $25,000 deterrent. No nuance, no targeted closures, just province-wide restrictions.

The real goal is to:
• Test public compliance with movement restrictions outside of a pandemic context.
• Normalise the idea that “emergencies” (now climate-linked) justify the suspension of basic freedoms.
• Condition the public for climate lockdowns and 15-minute city compliance.
• Incrementally erode traditional ways of life — like hunting, fishing, and independent access to nature.
• Lay groundwork for tighter control over firearms by reducing hunting.

This is how it works:
Emergency → Restrictions → Compliance. Do it often enough, and people stop questioning the cause and simply adjust to the control.

This isn’t about safety in the woods. It’s about training a population to accept that access to the natural world is a privilege. A privilege the state can remove whenever it chooses.
