DESECRATION

A Jewish suspect was arrested on Monday after vandalizing the Western Wall in Jerusalem with the spray-painted slogan "There's a Holocaust in Gaza."

The vandalism took place in the egalitarian prayer space just to the south of the main Western Wall Plaza.

More than 1,300 trucks carrying aid supplies for civilians entered Gaza over the past week.

Nearly 1,900 trucks that had been waiting at the Gaza side of the Kerem Shalom and Zikim crossings were collected and their supplies also distributed by the United Nations and other international organizations.

In short: A LOT of aid entered Gaza last week.

To his credit, while Gantz is critical of Netanyahu's approach, he insists Western condemnation of Israel is entirely misplaced.

But he also doesn’t like how Bibi has now chosen to move forward with the conquest of Gaza City.

According to Gantz: Israel should offer a permanent ceasefire in exchange for every remaining hostage (WHICH IT HAS EFFECTIVELY DONE BY ACCEPTING THE WITKOFF PLAN).

Until Hamas agrees (WHICH IT WON’T) Israel should:

🔹Assassinate Hamas leaders anywhere and everywhere in the world;

🔹Raid every possible Hamas stronghold in Gaza;

🔹Work with the US and Arab states to establish a new regime in Gaza (NOT SURE HOW THIS WORKS IF HAMAS IS STILL ARMED);

🔹Open crossings to Egypt, Jordan, and Israel’s Port of Ashdod so those Gazans who want to emigrate can do so.

If Hamas refuses or reneges, Gantz says Israel can then conquer all of Gaza.

But that’s a threat that has been so many times and never followed through on that no Israeli still believes it, and neither does Hamas.

Arab media reports that Iran intends to resume funneling money and weapons to Hezbollah with the aim of seizing effective control of Lebanon. (Al-Hadath)

Encouraged by Britain, France, and others in the West, Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas is said to be considering a unilateral “Declaration of Independence” at the UN General Assembly session next month.

The Netherlands has decided not to recognize a Palestinian state at this time, but did chastise Israel over the ongoing war in Gaza.

Hezbollah supporters filled the streets of Beirut last night to demonstrate against the government's intention to disarm the terrorist militia.

Lebanon is heading toward civil war.

That “alternative plan” was the IDF leadership’s proposal to encircle Gaza City and apply pressure through siege and targeted raids.

After months of Hamas refusals at the negotiating table, Netanyahu and his ministers insist that plan wouldn’t produce results fast enough.

Prime Minister's Office Announcement

The Security Cabinet has approved the Prime Minister's proposal for defeating Hamas.

The IDF will prepare to take control of Gaza City while distributing humanitarian assistance to the civilian population outside the combat zones.

The Security Cabinet – by majority vote – adopted the five principles for concluding the war:

1. Disarm Hamas.

2. Return all the hostages – the living and the deceased.

3. The demilitarization of the Gaza Strip.

4. Israeli security control in the Gaza Strip.

5. The establishment of an alternative civil administration that is neither Hamas nor the Palestinian Authority.

A decisive majority of Security Cabinet ministers believed that the alternative plan that had been submitted to the Security Cabinet would neither achieve the defeat of Hamas nor the return of the hostages.

PROTEST NATION

In Jerusalem, the government is deciding on a possible conquest of the entire Gaza Strip, and people in the country are protesting, either against the continuation of the war in the Gaza Strip or Orthodox Jews who "would rather die than serve in the Israeli army."

As a friend told me this evening, "We are a people with a psychological disorder."

The IDF chief of staff remains opposed to fully seizing Gaza City, arguing that it will create a greater humanitarian crisis and further endanger the hostages.
