⭐ The Finance Ministry has announced the selection of LTIMindtree Ltd as the successful bidder for the PAN 2.0 project, said an official from the ministry, adding that the project is expected to be operational within 18 months.

~ Another official said the project has been awarded at the contract value of around Rs 792 crore.

~ The PAN 2.0 project seeks to simplify the processes of obtaining the PAN and Tax Deduction and Collection Account Number (TAN) by leveraging the latest technologies.

🪧 PM E- DRIVE scheme has been extended by 2 years till March 2028

~ PM E-DRIVE scheme was first implemented from 1st October 2024 to 31st March 2026, for faster adoption of electric vehicles (EVs), setting up of charging infrastructure and development of EV manufacturing eco-system in the country.

~ However Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) confirmed that there will be no extra budget allocated to the extension and remaining funds out of the total outlay of ₹10,900 crore will be utilised
