🦆 On July 30, 2022, the first auctions launched on dns.ton.org — and that’s when it all began. Back then, the idea of decentralized domains felt like an experiment. Today, it’s a gateway to TON, to the new internet — a world where you own your data, your name, your service.

❤️ The WEB3 project has been one of the earliest and most dedicated supporters of TON DNS. We’ve built a domain marketplace, an onboarding mini-app, and services to help anyone start their journey into decentralization. We even shot a full film dedicated to Web 3.0. For our team and community — this is a long-awaited celebration.

🤫 In the 90s — amid shortages, early cooperatives, and a chaotic leap into free-market capitalism — .com domains appeared. To most, they seemed like a tech gimmick. «If you can’t touch it, it’s not a business» — that was the rule of entrepreneurship back then. Internet domain names? Pointless. Ridiculous. Not serious at all.
