“We welcome President Trump’s statement that the United States is prepared to provide security guarantees. The ‘coalition of the willing’ stands ready to play an active role. No restrictions should be placed on Ukraine’s Armed Forces or its cooperation with third countries. Russia cannot have a veto over Ukraine’s path to the EU and NATO,” the statement reads.

The leaders emphasized that Ukraine alone will decide on matters concerning its territory, and that international borders must not be altered by force.
