Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi visited the Pokrovsk front, meeting commanders and units holding the Dobropillia salient. Despite Russia’s numerical advantage, Ukrainian forces cleared six settlements. He praised the newly formed corps in Donetsk sector for their effective work.

The missile Russia used in its strike on Sumy has been identified as a Zircon, according to Defense Express. This marks the 14th use of the hypersonic missile in the war, once again showing poor accuracy and a weak warhead. The launch was carried out from occupied Crimea, likely from the underground “Object-100” complex near Rezervne.

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov announced plans for joint Russia-India resource extraction, with Putin possibly visiting India this year. He added that Russia wants to deepen trade ties with India.

Fires broke out near the ELOU AVT-6 unit—images now show scorched pipelines and ongoing repair work. Key infrastructure was hit, including pipeline links vital to refinery operations.

Fire Point is producing roughly one Flamingo per day, and by October they hope to build capacity to make seven per day, Chief Technical Officer Iryna Terekh confirmed to AP.

And why it is called Flamingo? Because initial versions of the missile came out pink after a factory error, they called it the Flamingo, and the name has stuck.

A traction substation was struck at night in Zhuravka, Voronezh region, part of the Zhuravka–Millerovo rail line built to bypass Ukraine. Voronezh is a key hub on Russia’s Southeast Railway.

The attack injured at least 15 people and set the plant ablaze after it was reportedly hit by 2 Kalibr cruise missiles.
