U.S. Envoy: Syria Will Remain on Terror List Pending Regime's Actions

Tom Barrack, the U.S. Envoy to Syria, stated that the US State Department will not remove Syria from the list of state sponsors of terrorism until it sees what the Sharaa regime will do next.

Sayyida Zeinab, Damascus | HTS Affiliated Militants Abduct & Kill Shia Man In Sectarian Attack

HTS terrorists kidnapped a young Shiite man from the city of Al-Zahraa in the Sayyida Zeinab district of Damascus, killed him, and threw his body outside the city.

Damascus | Civilian Man Killed by General Security

Muhammad Hassan Ishaq, a resident of Flita in the Damascus countryside, was shot dead by a General Security patrol in Nabek’s industrial zone after allegedly failing to stop when overtaking their vehicle.

He was with his wife, children, and brother-in-law at the time. Ishaq, who owned a home appliance store in Flita, died instantly. Another civilian from the Ramadan family was also injured in the incident.

Homs–Masyaf | Man Missing, Abduction Feared

Ghadir Raif Wannous was last seen on July 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM in Homs, shortly after arriving from Masyaf.

All attempts to locate him through security branches and hospitals have yielded no results. Fears of abduction are growing.

Southern Syria | All Educational Facilities Burned Down Under HTS Control

All schools and educational facilities in the town of Mazraa, located near the Daraa border, have been burned. The town is currently under the control of HTS (Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham).

Al-Bab, Aleppo | Signer Omar Khairi Assaulted & Humiliated by Gangs Affiliated With Turkish Backed SNA

Singer Omar Khairi was assaulted and beaten in the city of Al-Bab (Aleppo countryside) by individuals affiliated with the Turkish-backed “National Army,” which operates under the Syrian Ministry of Defense.

Jolani Appoints Al-Qaeda-Affiliated Journalist as Advisor

Ahmad Muwaffaq Zaidan, a Syrian journalist born in Damascus in 1955, has been appointed as an advisor to Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara‘ (al-Jolani).

Zaidan began his media career in the 1980s and gained notoriety while covering the Soviet-Afghan war.

He developed close ties with Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda leaders, serving as a media liaison and promoting jihadist narratives.

Accused of acting as a propaganda conduit, Zaidan broadcast bin Laden’s messages and justified al-Qaeda attacks.

He later joined Al Jazeera, becoming its correspondent in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and was criticized for bias toward jihadist groups.

The U.S. NSA previously identified him as an Al-Qaeda member.

Jableh | Female Missing, Feared Kidnapped

Contact has been lost with Atab Imad Daher, a 33-year-old married Alawite woman, since 1:30 PM on July 31. She was last known to be on her way to her family’s home in the village of Ghaniri, Jableh countryside. Concern is growing that she may have been kidnapped.

Tartous | Judge Assassinated Outside Safita Court

Judge Ghaith Muhammad, serving at the Civil Court of First Instance in Safita, was shot and killed by unidentified gunmen in front of the court building earlier today.

Damascus | Two Young Men from Suwayda Killed in Barzeh

Duraid Hashem Shibli Azzam and Muhannad Hashem Shibli Azzam were shot dead by unidentified gunmen outside their shop in Barzeh, Damascus. Both were originally from As-Suwayda and had recently returned from abroad to resettle in Syria.

Hama | Fatal Shooting Outside Palace of Justice

One person was killed after being shot by unidentified gunmen in front of the Palace of Justice in Hama.

Lebanon | ISIS Militant Arrested in Christian Majority Town of Keserwan

Lebanese State Security arrested Hassan Samir al-Ahmad, a 21-year-old Islamic State leader from Salqin, Idlib, Syria, in the Christian-majority province of Keserwan. He had infiltrated Lebanon to plan a terrorist attack. Authorities seized an ISIS flag and a phone containing footage of atrocities, including a beheading.

Southern Raml, Lattakia | Grenade Attack Injures Several

A dispute on Al-Gharraf Street in the Southern Raml neighborhood escalated into violence this evening, ending with a hand grenade thrown into the crowd. Several civilians were injured, including a girl in critical condition.

Syria | Portuguese Tourist Robbed on Syrian Highway by Armed Men Claiming to Be National Army

Portuguese traveler @vaga_mundo posted a video on Instagram documenting his robbery while traveling from Aleppo to the Syrian coast on the international highway. The footage, shared after completing his trip and leaving Syria, shows two armed men in civilian clothes, claiming affiliation with the Syrian National Arm. The armed men stopped him, searched his belongings, stealing $800 in cash.

Exposed: Takfiri Propaganda Uses False Victimhood to Justify Militancy

In a typical case of media deception by Takfiri Islamist circles, a woman publicly claimed that her son was kidnapped by the people of Suwayda, portraying him as an innocent civilian uninvolved in the conflict. Her emotional account was used to evoke sympathy and fuel sectarian narratives.

However, it was later revealed that she had been the main force encouraging him to take up arms against the people of Suwayda, urging him to engage in “jihad for the sake of God.”

An archival video released by the BBC shows Abu Muhammad al-Jolani in his early years alongside senior ISIS and al-Qaeda figures. The footage reportedly dates back to the period when Jolani was held in U.S.-run prisons in Iraq, such as Camp Bucca, where he and other terrorist leaders had undergone ideological and military indoctrination.

These prison gatherings became incubators for extremist networks that later spilled into Syria, with Jolani among the most prominent products. After committing crimes in Iraq, Jolani re-emerged in Syria as a leading figure in the al-Nusra Front, later rebranding himself under HTS leadership—yet maintaining the same violent, sectarian doctrine.

Qatana, Syria | Israel's Avichay Adraee Spotted Near Damascus, Highlights Jolani's False Solidarity with Palestine

Avichay Adraee, head of the IDF’s Arab Media Division, has reportedly been seen in Qatana, a town roughly 15 km southwest of Damascus. While his presence in the area remains unconfirmed and unexplained, the news has stirred outrage among Syrians—especially given growing suspicions over collaboration between foreign actors and factions within Syria’s de facto authorities.

The report has also reignited anger over Abu Muhammad al-Jolani’s false posture of solidarity with the Palestinian cause. Despite his televised speeches and slogans aligning with Palestine, Jolani’s factions have long faced accusations of normalizing indirect coordination with Israeli interests—particularly through border security arrangements, airstrike silence, and the suppression of groups that are actively supportive of the Palestinian resistance.

Arida Border | Clashes Between Lebanese Army and Syrian Militants

Clashes erupted near the Arida border crossing in the Talkalakh countryside between the Lebanese Army and armed Syrian militants. One Lebanese soldier was reportedly injured.

According to some Syrian sources, the confrontation began over alleged mistreatment of Syrians by Lebanese forces during border crossings.

Jableh Countryside | Israeli Airstrike Hits 107th Brigade HQ

Reports indicate an Israeli airstrike targeted the 107th Brigade headquarters in Ain al-Sharqiya, Jableh countryside. Flames were seen rising from the site following the strike.

"They were killed just because they were Druze," | BBC 4's Report From Suwayda

The report includes the testimony of "Rita," the sole survivor of a massacre committed by the terrorist forces of the al-Julani government against her family. They killed 12 members of her family, and she pretended to die with them to save her life.

Rita says: "We were on our land, we were in our home. We weren't fighting anyone. My father wasn't fighting anyone."

In addition, the report includes information about a prisoner from the al-Julani army who was captured along with tribal forces a day after the al-Julani regime's alleged withdrawal from Sweida. This proves the government's involvement in deceiving the tribes and its refusal to implement a ceasefire.

Asia Hisham, a presenter on Al-Mashhad TV, posted on her personal Facebook page an announcement about an upcoming interview with former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Damascus | German-Syrian Man Tortured to Death After Return Home

Youssef Labbad, a Syrian man who had lived in Germany for 13 years, was tortured to death in the prisons of Jolani’s "General Security" militia just days after returning to Damascus. He was arrested arbitrarily at the Umayyad Mosque despite having no legal charges or warrants against him.

His wife wrote on social media:

“My husband was arrested from the Umayyad Mosque and died under torture. His body bore marks of brutal beatings. He had only been in Syria for two days. I call on every person of conscience to demand justice for him and for our children.”

She urged the people of Qaboun not to remain silent, warning that if justice is not demanded, others will suffer the same fate.

Baniyas Countryside | Civilian Executed After Abduction

The body of Majd Ghanem, a civilian calligrapher from Baniyas and member of the Alawite community, was found near Al-Marqab village. He had been kidnapped and was executed with a gunshot to the head.

Tartous | Foreign Uyghur's Spotted in Trucks

Social media users report sightings of families of Uyghur militants openly roaming the streets, sparking concern and anger over their presence in the city.

Jableh | Daylight Armed Robbery

In broad daylight, armed men robbed a jewelry store owned by Ayman Farran in Jableh's Al-Dreiba neighborhood, stealing an estimated $200,000 worth of goods in front of witnesses. The brazen heist underscores the deepening security collapse under the HTS led regime.

Alawite Detainees Executed Without Trial in Jolani's Prisons

Several Alawite men were executed without trial after being arbitrarily detained on sectarian grounds by HTS-led forces.

Maher Muhammad Abdo, from Akrad al-Dasiniya, was arrested on January 5. During his arrest, militants looted 20 million Syrian pounds from his home. On July 28, his family identified his photo among execution victims in al-Waer Hospital in Homs.

Maher Mansour, from Homs' Al-Zahraa neighborhood, was also arrested in January. After months with no contact, it was confirmed he was executed with a bullet to the head. His body was transferred to Al-Walid Hospital on July 7 and buried in a mass grave in Tall al-Nasr Cemetery.

Tartous | Young Pharmacist Kidnapped for Ransom

A photo shows Hadi Haitham Abboud, a young pharmacist from the village of Safsafa in the Tartous countryside, who was recently abducted.

The kidnappers have contacted his family, demanding a large ransom in exchange for his release. His fate remains unknown.

UN Envoy Warns of Alarming Pattern in Abductions of Women in Syria

UN Envoy to Syria, Geir Pedersen, expressed deep concern over reports of Druze women abducted following security force incursions in certain areas of Suwayda, as well as the disappearance of women, children, and men.

He noted disturbing similarities to earlier incidents involving Alawite women, suggesting an emerging and troubling pattern in how fighters treat women. Pedersen's full briefing holds multiple parties accountable for the violence, though Syrian state media omitted mention of these specific abductions.

Safsafa, Tartous | Pharmacist Abducted by Man in "General Security" Uniform

Local sources report that a man wearing a "General Security" uniform and a vest labeled "Health Directorate" abducted pharmacist Hadi Haitham Abboud from in front of his workplace in Safsafa, Tartous.

Claiming to be from the Ministry of Health, the individual entered the pharmacy, cited a "health violation," and asked Hadi to accompany him to his car. Once outside, Hadi was forcibly taken into the vehicle and has not been seen since.

The young pharmacist has no known ties to the military or security forces. Surveillance footage captured an image of the car used in the kidnapping.

HTS-led Authorities Deny Family and Legal Access to Detained Alawite Sheikh Saleh Mansour

HTS-led "de facto" authorities continue to block the family of Sheikh Saleh Mansour, an Alawite cleric detained for several months, from visiting him. His lawyer has also been denied access, raising serious concerns about his legal rights and wellbeing.
