The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution, on an individual level. It's got to happen inside first.

All the knowledge in the world about any kind of art is in truth are the experiences of the artist.

She is not necessarily following all her tips and tricks but she is at all stages in practise mode. Practice makes the art better.

Any advice where practice is not mentioned is vague. Because it's the only thing one should consider.

One may read, listen, watch and do all kinds of observation and research and will not learn how to paint until you take a brush dip it in paint and do the actual painting.
