My Canadian friends and customers. IMPORTANT UPDATE.
I am calling for any support you can muster for our small business to survive this absolute shake-down happening at the border. We have been disabled for nearly two weeks, with US packages unable to be processed since shutting down all US shipping. As it stands, it will take us months to recover (if we can). They are hell bent on destroying all small businesses. I can only imagine how many businesses we just lost with this latest tariff move.
By the way - if your product has a country of origin for Canada, the US, or Mexico, these products ARE TARIFF FREE! That's right, but the game here is track/trace DATA COLLECTION.
They want country of origin certificates for every product, they want product codes, and tariff codes. They want a paper trail for every product (not just digital, we are back to the stone age of paper records for 5 years). They want you to have a 50K bond before you can ship. To get the bond, you have to prove you are complying on every level with taxes, HST, naming rules, claims rules, labeling laws, health code rules, I MEAN EVERYTHING. This is beyond overreach; it's mass meddling and a removal of privacy, freedom, and sovereignty like never before.
People think this is just slapping on a tariff; this is literally a shake-down to make everyone comply.
But here's the rub:
IF EVERYONE COMPLIES WITH ALL THE RULES, NO ONE WILL HAVE A VIABLE BUSINESS. It's too expensive and there is no profit. Do you understand?
This corrupt system is destroying itself from within, selecting for the most corrupt companies to survive and thrive. The whole thing is a huge money-making pyramid scheme and surveillance scam, but it has gone to the point of self-destruction. It is absolutely one of the most unhinged, ridiculous, frustrating, and mind-boggling experiences...it feels like an existential vertigo laced in alienation juice.
Right now, every small business in Canada is either folding or freaking out. Everyone must be so demoralized and tired. I see no mass protests, sit-ins, or burning down politicians' houses as we are seeing in other countries like France and Nepal.

Canada Post is also in self-destruct mode by partnering with the US company Zonos. Their unique status is gone. Many small businesses will no longer use them, as now the couriers are cheaper.
My only guess is that the UN 2030 Agenda wants no (only their) activity here in Canada; they must want to kill or chase off as many people as possible. It's that or this government will fall from its greed and insanity as has begun with France and Nepal, and more to come.
