In today’s study (Matthew 13:3–9 KJV), Rick and Doc unpack Jesus’ parable using four soils to diagnose the heart:
• Wayside—a hardened path where the word sits exposed and “dirty birds” (the enemy’s distractions) snatch it away.
• Stony ground—fast, flashy growth with no roots; when heat (trials, pressure, fame) rises, it withers.
• Thorns/brambles—the cares of life and deceitfulness of riches wrap around faith and choke it.
• Good ground—a tended, receptive heart that bears 30x, 60x, 100x fruit for Christ’s harvest.

The call is personal: guard your soil. Let the Holy Spirit burn out the brambles, welcome discipleship that grows deep roots, and remember—Jesus the Sower plants you in places that need light, hope, and a harvest.
