Russia plans to nationalize and sell off foreign assets as part of a new privatization mechanism in response to any European efforts to seize Russian assets abroad, according to Bloomberg, citing a source close to the Russian government.

The EU has transferred €4 billion to Ukraine from the proceeds of Russia's frozen assets.
The European Commission has allocated €4 billion in exceptional macro-financial assistance to Ukraine as the ninth tranche. The total support is approaching €178 billion.

The document notes that €2 billion of the allocated funds will be used for the production of UAVs.
