I think a rediscovery of the value of mothering, the needs of young children, and a growing concern about the negative impact 9-5, M-F daycare is partially behind this.

Today is the death anniversary of Ven. Adele Bonolis. She was an Italian layperson. She became a teacher of Religion in high school. She had special attention to women victims of prostitution and women wounded by life who are discarded and isolated. Her ministry also extended to other categories of women "at risk“ like former prisoners and mentally ill women. She continued her ministry even if she had intestinal tumor.

Two year ago today, a desperate mother, choose for the abortion of her child. We prayed much in this Community. On this sad anniversary, please pray for her and all those who were and are involved in this crime.

Heavenly Father, we grieve for the innocent victims of a worldwide disregard for human life – over a million are aborted every month. We pray for change in countries around the world where there are high abortion rates. Amen.
