Subject: Objection Regarding Restriction on Downloading Response Sheets and Tentative Answer Keys

Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding the recently issued notice by the Commission, wherein it has been stated that candidates may only view their Response Sheets and Tentative Answer Keys, but will neither be permitted to download/take a printout nor access them after the specified time period.
With due respect, this practice is highly unfair and raises the following issues:
1. Lack of Transparency: Candidates are entitled to a fair opportunity to verify their answers. Restricting downloads prevents aspirants from properly reviewing and seeking expert/legal advice regarding discrepancies.
2. Loss of Record: Once the portal closes, no candidate will have any evidence of their responses or the tentative answer key. This makes it impossible to challenge future disputes or errors, if identified later.
3. Deviation from Past Practice: In earlier years, SSC allowed candidates to download their response sheets and answer keys. Rolling back this facility undermines trust and fairness.
4. Natural Justice: Competitive examinations directly affect the career of lakhs of aspirants. Denying permanent access to their own answer records goes against principles of transparency, accountability, and natural justice.
Therefore, I humbly request the Commission to:
• Restore the facility of downloading Response Sheets and Tentative Answer Keys.
• Ensure candidates have access to their records beyond the limited time period for transparency and future reference.
I hope the Commission will consider this matter with urgency and in the larger interest of fairness and justice for all aspirants.
