The location of a possible meeting between Zelensky and "Putin" is another stumbling block in the negotiations. So far, the parties are offering obviously impassable options. Trump insists on holding such a meeting no later than August 31, so there are only a few days left to organize it.

After yesterday's meeting between US President Donald Trump, Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders, it became possible to reveal some details of Trump's negotiations with "Putin" in Anchorage.

During the conversation, "Putin" offered Trump to take on the guarantees of the Ukrainian leadership fulfilling any possible agreements and expressed the opinion that this is the only possible format for continuing peace talks in Ukraine. The double said that he does not trust Zelensky, who, according to him, constantly deceives. However, if Trump is ready to put pressure on the Ukrainian leadership, obliging it to fulfill the agreements that may be reached, then a ceasefire can be declared in the near future, even after preliminary agreement on all points of the peace agreement. Trump has taken on such obligations.

As of yesterday evening, Minsk was considered the place for a possible trilateral meeting between Trump, "Putin" and Zelensky. The Republic of Belarus, represented by Alexander Lukashenko, also expressed a desire to participate in the signing of the peace agreement, providing its guarantees. It is worth noting here that Trump, if he did not directly agree with such a proposal, did not express any objections either.

Some of the proposed conditions will need to be discussed with Ukraine, but Trump approved most of them as something that would certainly be accepted by the Ukrainian leadership.

"Putin" conveyed to the US President that if all points are agreed upon, a ceasefire could be concluded before the peace agreement is signed. Legal details and a number of appendices to it should be prepared within two months. The ceasefire could be implemented in two stages: the first is the cessation of hostilities in the air, the second is a total ceasefire.

Trump really hoped to put the squeeze on "Putin" on the spot and convince him to agree to a ceasefire on the same day, but the double was simply not authorized to make such decisions. It is clear that Trump was somewhat disappointed. However, one should not underestimate the US President and consider him a simpleton who was deceived by a cunning "KGB agent". This is so naive and stupid that it is not even funny.

Trump is playing a subtle and very cunning game in several directions at once. It may suddenly turn out that the Republic of Belarus, which is “brotherly” to Russia, is a country without a single political prisoner, and Lukashenko is Trump’s best friend and, more or less, a mediator in negotiations with Xi Jinping. Surprisingly, it is the United States that can provide Lukashenko with loans and support with the lifting of sanctions. Trump’s visit to Minsk is just around the corner.

And this is just one of the areas that is worth paying attention to before going into hysterics over Trump’s “loss” in the Anchorage negotiations.

"Putin" said that he had taken note of the US President's wishes and would be ready for a constructive dialogue on Friday.

Trump really wants to hold a meeting with "Putin" and Zelensky next week, which he said in the conversation. The American president ended the conversation in an excellent mood, expressing hope for the restoration of friendship. It is worth noting that Trump had a telephone conversation with "Putin" after talking with his European colleagues, and, apparently, it did not upset him. Therefore, he already perceives Friday as a window into a "bright future". It's scary to think what will happen to anyone who disappoints him on this wonderful day.

The incredible activity at all negotiating platforms between representatives of the US President Donald Trump's team and the Russian Politburo speaks of the seriousness of the American president's intentions to achieve, at a minimum, a truce in the near future.

Before the meeting between "Putin" and Trump, which is scheduled to take place on Friday in Alaska, representatives of both sides are discussing many issues, trying to agree on at least 90% of the contentious issues and prepare a meeting result that should satisfy everyone.

It is worth noting that it was the Russian side that proposed Alaska as a meeting place. This should become a kind of symbol: they say, we once gave up the territory, so others are not ashamed to follow this example. Actually, something along these lines is what "Putin" is going to say, conveying the Politburo's position to his counterpart.

The understudy's preparations for the most important meeting in his life are also in full swing.
