Leaving Ibrat Debate ...
Two years ago, I started Ibrat Debate as a small debate club in the Youth Creativity Palace in Tashkent. Back then, it was just me — no team, no big plans — only a dream, some determination, and the support of Yoshlar ishlari agentligi - Youth Affairs Agency and Ibrat Farzandlari
In just two years, together with my amazing team, that small club has grown into a nationwide social movement. Today, Ibrat Debate runs in every district and city of Uzbekistan — 208 locations in total. Our family has grown to nearly a thousand passionate young people across the country, all working voluntarily to make this possible. And every time we hold a debate, thousands of other young minds come together to share ideas, challenge perspectives, and grow.
Now, as I begin my studies at Harvard University, it’s time for me to step down from my role as Project Manager — the highest executive position in our organization. I will continue to serve as Chairman, offering my guidance and consulting, but I will no longer be able to dedicate as much time and energy to the project as before.
It is not easy to step back from something so close to my heart. But I am confident that Ibrat Debate will continue to grow — and grow even stronger — because we have placed the right people in charge. From today, Azizbek Toirov will take over as Republican Leader of the project, with the approval of the director of Yoshlar ishlari agentligi - Youth Affairs Agency and Ibrat Farzandlari. Alongside our management team — department heads and product managers — he will carry the mission forward.
As I close this chapter of my executive leadership, I want to express my deepest gratitude to my mentors and leaders: Alisher Sadullaev, Rustam Koriyev, Iskandar Komoldinov, and Dilshodbek Mirzayev. You believed in me and in Ibrat Debate when it was just an idea. You guided me, supported me, and gave me the opportunities that made this journey possible. Without you, neither I nor this project would be where we are today.
To my incredible team — those who worked beside me in person and those who worked tirelessly from afar — every achievement we’ve had belongs to you. I have learned so much from leading you and working alongside you. The memories we’ve created together will stay with me for the rest of my life.
This is not goodbye — only a change in how I serve. Ibrat Debate will always be part of me. And I will always be proud of the community we have built together.
