🇵🇱 Poland has also taken up regulating the crypto market
⚡️ The new bill is essentially a national adaptation of the European MiCA. Key provisions:
🟡 Operating without a license results in a fine of up to 10 million zlotys ($2.7 million) and up to 2 years in prison;
🟡 Exchanges are required to keep client and own funds in separate accounts;
🟡 The financial supervisory authority KNF now has more powers to issue penalties.
So, to conduct any activity related to other people's crypto in Poland (wallets, exchangers, etc.), you now need to obtain a CASP license. The law is already awaiting signatures from the Senate and the President — Poland's direct path to a "happy controlled digital future."
