Thanks to the incredible support of the $WATER community, a well and toilets have been built in Iyalode village 🔵

Before this, the villagers faced unimaginable hardships. To fetch water, they had to walk long distances to neighboring villages, often digging wells manually just to get a few liters. During the dry season, there was no water at all.

Elders from Iyalode recall how, when they were young, parents would leave their homes at 1 or 2 AM just to find water for their families — a journey that took hours and carried no guarantees.

Today, thanks to you, this reality has changed 💦

Clean water is now within reach, and daily life is no longer defined by the struggle to survive.
