The first trillion-dollar AI project!

Following Nvidia’s $100 billion investment, Sam Altman unveiled an even bigger number: $1 trillion for AI infrastructure.

At OpenAI’s brand-new data center in Abilene, Texas, he laid out the math. Each gigawatt of compute power costs around $50 billion to build, and OpenAI estimates it will need 20 gigawatts just to handle ChatGPT’s growth. That means a trillion-dollar build-out is on the horizon.

The CFA Level III is the final and most complex test in the CFA program. It emphasizes portfolio management, wealth planning, and case-based essays rather than just memorization.

Researchers used chain-of-thought prompting, which means asking the AI to show its reasoning step by step instead of jumping straight to an answer. That boosted essay scores by around 15 percentage points, enough to hit passing levels.

This isn’t just about raw knowledge, it signals that machines are closing the gap on judgment, scenario reasoning, and strategic thinking in finance.
